(Unila): Lampung University (Unila) held a socialization event for the 2026 new student admissions (PMB) at SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung on Thursday, February 10, 2026.
The event took place in the auditorium of State High School 5 Bandar Lampung and aimed to provide comprehensive information to students and parents regarding the selection process and mechanisms for admission to Unila in 2026.
The information session was opened by the PMB Unila Public Relations Coordinator, Dr. Muhammad Komarudin, S.T., M.T. Also present at this event were the Unila PMB Team, Ir. Ing. Hery Dian Septama, S.T., IPM., Principal of SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung Linda Krisnawati, M.Pd., parents, and students of SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung.
In his speech, Dr. Muhammad Komarudin said that the PMB socialization activity was part of Unila’s commitment to providing open, clear, and accountable information services to the public.
Unila is fully committed to conducting a proactive new student admission selection process, which is professional, accountable, transparent, and informative, so that all prospective students and parents can fully understand each stage of the selection process.
The 2026 Unila PMB socialization material was presented by Dr. Muhammad Komarudin and Ir. Ing. Hery Dian Septama, S.T., IPM. In their presentation, they explained that in 2026, Unila will open registration for new students through three selection channels, namely the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT), and the Independent channel.
Each pathway has different requirements, schedules, and selection mechanisms, so students are expected to choose the pathway that best suits their potential and academic readiness.
The speaker also explained in detail the registration stages, strategies for choosing a study program, and the importance of understanding the capacity and competitiveness of each study program at Unila.
In addition, it was conveyed that Unila continues to improve the quality of education, facilities and infrastructure, as well as academic management in order to create a superior and competitive learning environment.
The Principal of SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung, Linda Krisnawati, M.Pd., welcomed the implementation of the Unila PMB socialization and hoped that this activity could help students and parents understand the selection process for entering state universities, especially Unila, so that students could prepare themselves in a more mature and focused manner.
Through this 2026 Unila PMB outreach activity, Unila hopes to increase students’ and parents’ understanding of the admission process for state universities, while encouraging more high school graduates in Lampung Province to continue their higher education at Unila. [Gandhi Irawan]
