(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) held a socialization event of the 2026 Unila new student admissions (PMB), on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in the Hall of the Pringsewu 2 State Senior High School Building.
The socialization event, was opened by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems at Unila, Prof. Dr. Ayi Ahadiat, SE, M.B.A., aims to provide comprehensive information to schools and teachers regarding the pathways and mechanisms for Unila’s entrance selection.
The activity was also attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Cooperation of the Faculty of Agriculture, Unila, Prof. Dr. Ir. Purnomo MS, Head of UPA Career Development and Entrepreneurship Unila Dr. Usep Syaifudin, SE, MSAk., Unila PMB Team, Principal of SMA Negeri 2 Gadingrejo Pringsewu Dr. Yuli Yanti, M.Pd., heads of SMA/SMK/MA throughout Pringsewu Regency, as well as teachers and student representatives.
Prof. Ayi Ahadiat in his remarks conveyed that Unila is fully committed to implementing a PROACTIVE new student admission process, namely Professional, Accountable, Transparent, and Informative.
Through this outreach, Unila strives to ensure that all education stakeholders receive clear, accurate, and equal information regarding the university entrance selection process.
The Unila PMB socialization committee at SMA Negeri 2 Gadingrejo Pringsewu presented speakers from the Unila PMB Team. The material covered the registration process for prospective new students’ registration through the National Achievement-Based Selection (SNBP), National Test-Based Selection (SNBT), and Independent Selection.
The resource person also explained the selection stages, requirements, implementation schedule, and strategies for student assistance by the school so that they can choose a study program according to their interests and academic abilities.
In addition, it was also conveyed that Unila continues to improve academic quality, strengthen educational facilities, and develop information system-based services to optimally support the learning process and student services.
Through this outreach activity, Unila hopes to forge stronger synergy with schools in Pringsewu Regency in assisting students through the university entrance selection process, while also encouraging increased participation rates in higher education in Lampung Province. [Muzamil Kakar]
