(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) held a plenary meeting to determine the capacity for new student admissions (PMB) in 2026, on January 2026, in the main meeting room on the second floor of the Rectorate Building.

This activity was opened by Unila Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, DEA, IPM., ASEAN Eng., and attended by university leadership, including vice chancellors, deans, deputy deans, heads of bureaus, and heads of institutions.

In the plenary meeting, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs presented material on the 2026 PMB strategy. Unila is opening three admission routes, namely the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT), and the Independent route.

These three pathways are designed to attract prospective students according to their academic potential and competencies, while still taking into account the capacity of the study program and the development needs of the institution.

The Head of the Institute for Learning Development and Educational Quality Assurance (LPMPP) Unila added material related to quality standards and determining capacity.

The new student quota must be adjusted based on study program accreditation, the availability of infrastructure, and the faculty-to-student ratio. Determining capacity is part of Unila’s commitment to maintaining the quality of learning and its academic reputation.

On this occasion, Unila also emphasized the tagline for new student admissions in 2026, namely PROactive: Professional, Accountable, Transparent, and Informative.

This tagline serves as a guideline throughout the new student admission process, reflecting Unila’s spirit of providing a credible, open, and quality-oriented selection system.

Through this plenary meeting, Unila affirmed its readiness to welcome prospective new students in 2026 with a transparent, measurable admissions system and a commitment to quality, while also supporting Unila’s vision of becoming a world-class university with Lampung’s cultural identity.
