(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) held a plenary meeting on lecturer workload (BKD) for the odd semester period of the 2025/2026 academic year on Friday, January 30, 2026, in the main meeting room on the second floor of the local campus rectorate building.
The plenary meeting was opened by Unila Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A., IPM., ASEAN Eng. The event was also attended by vice rectors, deans, deputy deans, heads of bureaus, the Director of Postgraduate Studies, heads of institutions, and heads of academic support units within Unila.
In her remarks, the Rector emphasized that the implementation of the BKD plenary meeting is an important part of the academic quality assurance system and lecturer performance management.
BKD evaluation not only functions as an administrative instrument, but also as an effort to maintain accountability, professionalism, and improve the quality of the tridarma of higher education on an ongoing basis.
The meeting material began with a presentation regarding the results of the recapitulation and verification of the lecturer BKD in the odd semester of 2025/2026.
In the presentation, a general overview of the achievements of the implementation of the Tri Dharma was presented, including the fields of education and teaching, research, community service, and supporting the Tri Dharma.
This data is the basis for assessing the suitability between planning and realization of lecturer workload in each faculty and unit.
Next, the aspect of lecturer compliance with the provisions of laws and regulations related to BKD is discussed, including fulfilling the minimum and maximum workload according to functional positions.
The plenary forum also highlighted the importance of timely completion, completeness of supporting documents, and the validity of data uploaded to the BKD system as part of transparent and accountable academic governance.
The following material emphasizes the role of faculty, institutional and UPA leaders in providing guidance and supervision of BKD implementation.
Synergy between lecturers and work unit leaders is considered very important to ensure that lecturers’ performance is aligned with the direction of institutional policy, Unila’s strategic plan, and the university’s main performance indicators.
In this plenary meeting, various obstacles and findings that emerged during the BKD evaluation process were also discussed, while steps for improvement for the next period were formulated.
The resulting recommendations are expected to serve as a reference in increasing the effectiveness of BKD implementation and supporting the strengthening of performance culture within the University of Lampung.
