(Unila): The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the University of Lampung ( Unila ) held a farewell ceremony for the participants of the gathering activity, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Unila Guesthouse.

The farewell event was attended by 62 participants from all faculties at Unila. The destinations visited during the gathering included Dieng, Yogyakarta, and Magelang.

This activity aims to strengthen ties and increase solidarity among the administrators and members of the Unila DWP, as well as being a learning tool regarding women’s empowerment practices implemented in various tourist destinations visited.

The departure of the Unila DWP group was officially released by the Unila rektor and DWP Advisor, Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, DEA, IPM., ASEAN Eng., who in her remarks hoped that all participants could enjoy the natural beauty and atmosphere of the tourist destination as a means of refreshment during the three to four-days activity.

“Hopefully, this activity will be a refreshing way for the mothers, so they can return to their activities with greater enthusiasm and togetherness,” she said.

This activity is expected to encourage DWP Unila members to be more active in participating in various DWP programs and activities.

Furthermore, this activity was expected to maintain and strengthen the spirit of togetherness and camaraderie, while also encouraging inactive members to participate in the routine activities of the Unila DWP. [Muzamil Kakar]
