(Unila): Lampung University (Unila) has once again achieved a proud accomplishment in scientific publication by ranking among the top 10 national universities based on the number of journals indexed in Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital), the official indexing system owned by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology.

As of November 2025, 149 scientific journals managed by Unila are registered in the Garuda system. This achievement is proof of the institution’s commitment to strengthening research culture, increasing the visibility of academic work, and encouraging scientific contributions at the national level.

This success is inseparable from the hard work of the Unila LPPM Publication and Cooperation Research Center team led by Gigih Forda Nama, S.T., M.Ti.

They are considered successful in improving the quality of journal management, both in terms of governance, consistency of publication, and compliance with academic standards and publication ethics.

Unila hopes that this achievement will serve as momentum to encourage improvements in the quality of scientific publications across all faculties.

In addition, Unila aims to expand its indexing to international levels such as DOAJ and Scopus, in order to strengthen its role as a center for the development of science, research, and innovation that is globally competitive. [PR Team]
