The Summer Camp will be held for ten days, from July 20 to July 29, 2025.

This year, 12 countries have confirmed their participation in the FKIP Unila 2025 Summer Camp, including Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Sudan, Liberia, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Chad, Madagascar, Egypt, and Nigeria.

This activity is designed with an ethno pedagogy and ethno science approach, which aims to introduce the diversity of languages, cultures, arts, cuisine, and tourism in Lampung Province. Through this approach, participants will be invited to understand local values in the context of education and science.

The 2025 Summer Camp program will be held on the FKIP and University of Lampung campuses, as well as field activities at various strategic locations in Lampung.

The committee has prepared a variety of interactive and educational activities to provide a fun and meaningful learning experience, including Local Language and Culture Exploration learning about the regional languages and traditions of the Lampung people.

Arts and Craft Workshops practicing local crafts that are rich in cultural value.
Traditional Cuisines cooking and tasting Lampung specialties.

Traditional Music and Dance learning traditional music and dance firsthand.

The Dean of FKIP Unila, Dr. Albet Maydiantoro, M.Pd., stated that the Summer Camp is a concrete effort by FKIP Unila to strengthen the role of education internationalization, while promoting Indonesia’s cultural wealth to the world.

“We hope that this activity can become a space for cross cultural dialogue, broaden the global perspective of the participants, and strengthen relations between nations through education and culture,” he said.

This program is also part of FKIP Unila’s strategy to build international networks and collaborations, in line with the mission of the University of Lampung as a world class higher education institution.

With a collaborative spirit and multicultural enthusiasm, FKIP Unila is ready to welcome the participants of the 2025 Summer Camp and offer an unforgettable experience that enriches knowledge, skills, and international friendships. [Gandhi Irawan]
