(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) made its latest international partnership with Refles University Malaysia marked by the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) which took place on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Jakarta. The event was attended by Dr. Ayi Ahadiat, the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and ICT of Unila, and the Head of PKLI, Prof. Irza Sukmana.
Refles University Malaysia, one of the leading universities in Malaysia, specializes in artificial intelligence (AI) control and academic and curriculum management. The signing of this LoI marks the start of collaboration in implementing AI technology in the teaching and learning process at Unila.
According to Prof. Irza Sukmana, the cooperation focuses on implementing the MyAI Teaching Assistant platform, an AI-based solution used in various universities in Indonesia, to improve the effectiveness of teaching and curriculum management so that the quality of teaching-learning process at Unila is expected to significantly improve by making use of cutting-edge AI technology and expanding the international cooperation networks.
This is a strategic step for Unila to adapt to technological advances and the demands of the times. Both universities welcome the cooperation, hopping that it contributes to a significant impact on the advancement of education in both institutions which in turn boosts development at the global level.
