(Unila): Faculty of Law, the University of Lampung (FH Unila) held an international lecturer class on Thursday, 25 April 2024.
The lecture on the Qu’est-CeQu’une Constitution (What is a Constitution?) was delivered by Idriss Fassassi, Professor of Public Law at the University Paris-Pantheon Assas as well as Director of the Center for Comparative Public Law and Co-Director of the Comparative Public Law Master’s degree at the university.
The event was put in place in hybrid modes, online and offline with the former was done via Zoom and the latter was held at the Prof Abdulkadir Muhammad Auditorium, Faculty of Law, the University of Lampung.
Some 200 offline and 300 online participants some of whom were FH students taking Constitutional Law courses, FH International Class, and representatives of FH University Tirtayasa (Untirta) students participated in the lecture
Prof. Idriss Fassassi explained the history of the French constitution, the meaning and characteristics of the French constitution, the elements of the constitution, and the position of the constitution in the French legal system.
The lecture got enthusiastic responses as indicated by a lot of queries from the participants with respect to the constitution and the implementation of the constitution in several European countries.
