(Unila): The faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), the University of Lampung (Unila) held a national seminar themed “Harmonisation and improvisation of education towards smart society 5.0″.

The seminar, which was a series of FKIP’s 56th anniversary, was attended by 145 participants from a number of regions in Indonesia.

Dr. Habibullah Jimad, the head of Research and Community Service Center (LPPM) in the opening event on behalf of the rector expressed high appreciation for FKIP’s regularly organising national and international seminars.

He further suggested the participants to always adapt rapid changes of education, upgrading their knowledge ands skills with respect to these changes.

On the same occasion, Dean of FKIP Unila, Prof. Sunyono said that this national seminar as part of the 56th anniversary celebration of FKIP Unila was held every year. In this celebration, IKU-7 was contested as an award for lecturers who have been active in case and team-based project learning methods.

The keynote speakers of the seminar, Prof. Anhar Gongong, Prof. Elindra Yetti, Prof. Sowiyah, and Prof. Chansyanah Diawati, shed light on important issues of education from different aspects. [PR Team]
