(Unila): Indah Febriyani won the championship in the VII National Recreational Sports Festival (Fornas) in the YPOK sports branch. She successfully competed with 15 other participants and managed to bring home a gold medal for the YPOK event in the women’s individual kata class.
Fornas 2023, which was held face-to-face in West Java, was attended by participants, including children, students, students, adults, professionals and the elderly from all provinces in Indonesia. The competition took place from 2 to 9 July 2023 with the aim of teaching sports culture to the public regardless of ages, genders, and professions.
Indah’s achievement in Fornas was as a result of her doing regular exercise and taking advantage of the competition. Regular exercise could free her from being dependent on gadgets so that she was able to maintain health, fitness and body strength to protect herself.
As a physical education student class of 2022, Indah has gone through various karate training for around five years with her coach and peers. This achievement is the result of his efforts and dedication. Her experience led her to achieve higher achievements, at both national and international levels.
Indah’s achievements received support not only from her family and coaches, but also from the physical education study program lecturers. The lecturers also were proud of Indah for her tremendous achievement in the Fornas competition. [PR Team]
