(Unila): UPT for the Development of International Cooperation and Services (PKLI) of the University of Lampung (Unila) again held monitoring and evaluation (Monev) of Unila foreign student studies for the even semester of 2023 in the senate meeting room on the 3rd floor of the rectorate building, Monday, 28 August 2023.

This time the monev was attended by eight Unila foreign students who presented the progress of their studies while studying at Unila.

Head of UPT PKLI Unila Prof. Irza Sukmana, when opening the event said that UPT PKLI planned to accelerate and collaborate with institutions abroad to encourage overseas students to pursue their studies at Unila.

He said that monitoring and evaluation activities need to be regularly made to make sure that overseas students finish their study in due course. These sorts of activities could shortly identify and cope with both lecturers’ constrains in dealing with overseas students and students’ problems in their studies.

He suggested that overseas students not hesitate to come to UPT PKLI once they need help and queries, especially about SIAKADU problems. The SIAKADU problem often distressed students and thus the monitoring and evaluation agenda need to made by asking every single overseas student to tell their problems during their study at Unila.

Every single overseas reported on the progress of their studies such as challenges and obstacles when studying and socializing with the campus environment as well as the grades of the courses taken. [PR Team]
