(Unila): The on-site visit by the international accreditation team from the Akkreditierungsagenturfür Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik (ASIIN) to Lampung University (Unila) concluded on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

The three-day visit from 4 to 6 July aims to assess the feasibility of the mathematics and physics study program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Unila.

On the last day of the visit, ASIIN accreditation team led by Prof. Christof Sxhelthoff from the University of Applied Sciencea Aachen made final a meeting with Unila top officials and the Unila accreditation team.

Prof. Sxhelthoff expressed appreciation for Unila’s efforts in achieving international accreditation and for having the mathematics and physics study program at FMIPA internationally accredited.

Christof also appreciated the Unila curriculum, especially with respect to courses of Moral Values and Data Science which are considered very relevant to the times. He has come to the conclusion that Unila has good student management, such as student exchange, regulatory transparency, and the quality of the learning process.

Vice Rector For Academic Affairs Unila Dr. Suripto Dwi Yuwono, thanked the ASIIN accreditation team for providing an objective and constructive assessment of the S-1 Mathematics and Physics Department of FMIPA Unila, hopping that this visit should be the foundation to lead Unila to a world class university.

He was very grateful for the arrival of the ASIIN team to Unila so that this is expected to lead Unila to a better campus.
