(Unila): Bella Amanda Iswahyudi, a student majoring in Agricultural Product Technology, Unila was appointed Champion 1 in the Regional II Level Student Achievement Selection (Pilmapres) organized by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education’s Directorate General for Learning and Student Affairs.

She demonstrated superior accomplishments, innovative ideas, and exceptional English skills, defeating the competitors from a number of tertiary institutions in Region II. The Pilmapres, according to Bella, evaluates some issues such as, academic and non-academic aspects, leadership, and innovation accomplishments.

The evaluation of the Pilmapres is based on the three criteria in terms of student outstanding accomplishments (50 percent), creative ideas (30 percent), and English proficiency (20 percent).

According to Bella her success in the competition indicates her great performance on academic abilities, leadership skills, high dedication, and innovative research projects. She was able to effectively and confidently present the material ideas.

Bella also appreciates supports from her family, friends, and universities for motivation, guidance, and resources, beginning with the input of ideas, video recording equipment, transportation, and lodging, and continuing through assistance during competitions.

She was extremely appreciative and divulged her future plans, stating that this accomplishment was not the ultimate objective, but rather a stepping stone for achieving greater objectives, maximizing extant capabilities, and winning future competitions.

“The voyage has not yet ended; it has not even begun. “I hope to apply and develop my skills for a career with the same zeal with which I accomplished this feat,” he said. [PR Team]
