(Unila): Some 2,388 prospective students were accepted to pursue their study at the University of Lampung (Unila) through the 2023 Achievement-Based National Selection (SNBP) as announced online at 3 p.m. local time Tuesday, March 28, 2023. They major in different study programmes.

Dr. Suripto Dwi Yuwono, in charge of the New Student Admissions Selection (PMB) of the University of Lampung, reported at a news conference that there were 17,479 participants in total registering for the 2023 SNBP at the University of Lampung.

Overall, there were 25,058 students in total registering through the SNBP admission process. They enrolled for one, 13,070 students and option two,11,988 students.

The students enrolling at Unila this year increased in number by 18% (25,058 students) by contrast with those in 2022 (21,545 students). Overall the student ratio accepted through SNBP Unila 2023 was 1: 11.

The prospective students were accepted in different academic programmes and departments and the number was fewer than those provided by Unila, 2,407 students.

PMB Unila Public Relations, Dr. Fitra Darma reported the top three favorite study programmes selected by the applicant; Management was the most favorite program for the students to choose (1,677 applicants), followed by the PGSD Study Programme in second place  (1,650), and the Pharmacy Study Programme in third place with 1,382 applicants.

According to Dr. Anna Gustina Zainal, Secretary for New Student Admissions, the student admission through SNBP this year accepted both undergraduate and diploma programs slightly different from that of last years’ new students admission, accepting only undergraduate programme.
