(Unila): The Rector of Unila Prof. Lusmeilia Afriani, opened the Socialization and Launching of New Student Admissions (PMB) of Lampung University (Unila) in 2023, Monday, February 20, 2023.

The socialization and launching of PMB 2023 aims to socialize the stages of college entrance selection and the capacity of the student quota at Unila to theschool, as well as a form of Unila’s efforts to improve the quality of the selection process for new student admissions in 2023.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, University of Lampung Dr. Suripto Dwi Yuwono, also acting as the 2023 Unila PMB committee reported that the quality of the Unila PMB selection process in 2023 got improved so that excellent students could be found to meet the Golden Indonesia 2045.
Prof. Lusi in her remarks conveyed that the process of PMB UNILA in 2023 was administered with reference to the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Number 48 of 2022 concerning Admission of New Students for Diploma and Undergraduate Programs at state universities.
According to her, the changes have been made where the diploma program is included in this year’s SNPMB program.
Prof. Lusi also expressed his gratitude to the school representatives who were present in the socialization, hoping that this activity could be a bridge for schools and Unila to keep in touch with each other and to share information about PMB Unila 2023 optimally.
Meanwhile, the secretary of the Education and Culture Office of Lampung Province, Tommy Efra Handarta said that Unila as a tertiary institution, has a very large important role in assisting the progress of Lampung province, hoping that the new student admission system should be administered out properly and correctly so as to result in competent graduates.
He said that the Education and Culture Office of Lampung Province necessarily supports all educational program programs particularly aim to advance Lampung province.
The activity was attended by the deputy rectors, directors of pascasarjana, deans, bureau heads, heads of institutions, and principals, vice principals, and teachers of high schools, vocational schools and ma throughout Lampung Province.
After the speech, the event continued with the Launching of PMB Unila 2023, a group photo session, presentationof material by the PMB 2023 Public Relations Coordinator Dr. Fitra Dharma and ended with a discussion session. [PR Team]
