(Unila): The Agribusiness Department, Faculty of Agriculture (FP) of the University of Lampung (Unila) launched the Agri-IKU (key performance Indicator) Application while inaugurating the Agri-IKU Corner, at the Business and Family Resources Laboratory (MUSK Lab), Tuesday, 13 December 2022.

Agri-IKU of Leading Entrepreneurial Innovation for Agribusiness, is a part of the Family Business and Resource Laboratory. The development of Agri-IKU was funded by an independent campus competition grant in 2022 which was successfully obtained by the Agribusiness Study Program.

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Cooperation of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Purnomo, said that the launch of this application is expected to encourage lecturers and students for innovation in agribusiness.

Students must also always take advantage of Freedom to Learn, Independent Campus (MBKM) program so that they can participate in improving their majors with a better direction.

According to Dr. Teguh Endaryanto, head of the Agribusiness Department, the Agri-IKU application is an attempt to combine the agribusiness context with leading entrepreneurial innovation to support higher education key performance indicators (IKU) which in turn has a role as a locomotive for the carriages of trips majoring in Agribusiness.

In the same ocation, Dr. Novi Rosanti, head of Agribusiness Study Program, Unila FP, said that Agri-IKU consists of two parts, namely Agri-IKU Corner and Platform Agri-IKU. The Agri-IKU application platform refers to a marketplace for marketing agricultural products in the agribusiness sector in the forms of both the results of MBKM and community service.

Head of LP3M, Prof. Wan Abbas Zakaria, thanked for and congratulated the grand launching of Agri-IKU, hoping that this application necessarily facilitates students to improve their competency and soft skills, especially in entrepreneurship courses.
