(Unila): Unila deployed six given students to serve in the 10th National Community Service Program and Joint Community Service Program initiated by the State University Cooperation Agency (BKS PTN) for the Western Region of Indonesia in July 15, 2022.

The release was carried out by Prof. Dr. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A., head of LPPM UNILA, in the UNILA KKN Center Office. Among those present were field supervisors (DPL), the UNILA KKN Center team, secretary of the UNILA KKN Center, Suparman Arif, S.Pd., M.Pd., secretary of LPPM UNILA Rudy, S.H., LL.M., LL.D.

The six given students come from different backgrounds of study, Anggun Trishia Uswatun Hasanah and Retno Anisa Putri study in the department of dance, school of education (FKIP); Muhammad Bintang Firdaus and Ardella Dean Awalia major in computer science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences; Dedek Irvansyah studies in the Department of Law, Faculty of Law; Ahmad Agung Wijaya is from the Department of Business Administration Sciences, FEB.

The 10th National Community Service Program, which ran from August 20, 2022, in Kapuas and Pisau Regencies, Central Kalimantan, was attended by delegates from UNILA.

The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, and a number of national figures are expected to attend the launch of the National Children’s Community Service, according to Prof. Lusmeilia, who opened the presentation. She expressed gratitude to the DPL for continuing to assist kids in getting ready for the National Community Service Program.

Due to this, students are required to describe the variety of languages and cultural practices in Lampung before introducing these practices at the national level. The chairman and secretary of LP2M UNILA, DPLs, and the KKN Center staff leave for Central Kalimantan with the six students.

The national community service program’s opening and debriefing is scheduled to be put in place at the University of Palangka Raya from June 17–19, 2022, with participation from the delegates.

Among those present are representatives from the government at the national level, the DPR and DPD RI in Central Kalimantan, the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, the Chairman of the Rector’s Forum, Governors, Rectors, the Chairman of LPPM/LPM/KKN Managers throughout Indonesia, and others.

Speakers at the event necessarily include among others the fifth president of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. (H.C.) Megawati Soekarno Putri, the chairman of the MPR-RI, Bambang Soesatyo, S.E., M.B.A., the head of the president’s office, General TNI (Ret.) Moeldoko, the chief of the army staff, General TNI Dudung Abdurahman, and the minister of education.
