(Unila): The Faculty of Engineering (FT) of the University of Lampung held The International Conference on Science, Technology, and Interdisciplinary Research at Emersia Hotel, Bandarlampung, Tuesday (9/24/2019).
The annual event which was gathered at The International Conference on Science, Technology, and Interdisciplinary Research (IC-STAR) was attended by a number of distinguished speakers from several countries.
The guest speakers are Prof. Hadi Nur (Malaysia Technology University), Prof. Takayuki Suzuki (Yokohama National University, Japan), Prof. Mamoru Kikumoto (Yokohama National University Japan), and Prof. Guru Murthy Hedge (BMS Collage of Engineering Bangalore India).
Rector of Unila, Prof. Hasriadi Mat Akin, officially opened the IC-Star. He conveyed that the conference was a means of opening a global network for academics. The activity aimed to disseminate information on researchers, technical engineers, agricultural engineers, food science, medical and biomedical, as well as information and communication technology.
He explained that science and technology, nearly future, would be more advanced from every field. Science exists to contribute to improve the quality of lives.Through this prominent forum, Hasriadi invited delegates to share and highlight original ideas as well as significant and sophisticated progress as well as the potentials and challenges in the future through all related aspects.”Through research and development in the fields of science, engineering and technology, as well as this interdisciplinary science, I hope the delegates can share and highlight original ideas for the advancement of knowledge,” he said.
