(Unila): Assessor Team of the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) arrived at the University of Lampung. The team visited the D3 Plantation Program of Faculty of Agriculture (F.P.) and Masters in Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Monday (8/26/2019).

They were Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiwiyono, M.Sc., and Dr. Ir. Heny Herawati, M.P., for the D3 Plantation Program visitation team. Meanwhile, the team members for visiting Masters in Economics consisted of Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmad, S.E., M.Sc., and Amirullah Setya Hardi, S.E., Cand Oecon, Ph.D.

The activity took place in the Senate Meeting Room of the second floor of the Rectorate Building, Unila. Rector of Unila, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hasriadi Mat Akin, M.P.; Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Bujang Rahman, M.Sc.; Vice-Rector for PKTIK Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mahatma Kufepaksi, M.Sc.; Dean of the FEB, Prof. Dr. Satria Bangsawan, S.E., M.Sc.; and Dean of FP Unila Prof. Dr. Ir. Irwan Sukri Banuwa, M.Sc., along with the other Unila Management Board, attended the meeting.

In his remarks, Hasriadi said, Unila had already set the policy in order to achieve Accreditation-A to many study programs. He expected that the other study programs might implement it as to attain international accreditation. A few days ago, FEB Unila had just accredited 11 study programs in its faculty with international accreditation, namely ABEST21.

Hasriadi embedded a hope in his statement that the arrival of assessors will not only play as an assessment team but also roles as a coach to support the continuous development in Unila. [PR Team]
