(Unila): Yokohama National University, Japan, and the University of Lampung (Unila) agreed to build cooperation. The signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was carried out by the Rector of Unila, Prof. Hasriadi Mat Akin, and the representative of NYU, Prof. Takayuki Suzuki, in the Unila Senate Meeting Room on Tuesday (9/24/2019).
Prof. Mamoru Kikumoto and many Unila leaders attended the signing ceremony to be the witnesses of that special moment for both parties.
The ceremony was held after the implementation of a series of interdisciplinary of International Science, Technology, and Research Conferences at the Faculty of Engineering on the same day.
This agreement started the implementation of collaboration between both universities in various scientific disciplines, especially in research and scientific publications. The event was successfully facilitated by the Cooperation Development and International Services Unit (UPT-PKLI).
Rector of Unila expects that there will open opportunities for other further cooperations such as conducting Student Exchange Program and further study between both universities.
“We hope that this cooperation may open further collaboration to improve the publication, research performance, and research results, and to support further study abroad cooperation and student exchange program between both parties,” he said. [PR Team]
