(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) held a socialization for the 2026 Unila new student admissions (PMB), on Wednesday, February 4 2026, in the hall on the second floor of the YP Unila High School Building in Bandar Lampung.

The activity aims to provide students, parents, and schools with a comprehensive understanding of the pathways and mechanisms for Unila’s 2026 admission selection process.

The socialization was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Unila Prof. Dr. Eng. Suripto Dwi Yuwono, S.Si., MT. Also present were the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Unila Dr. Ahmad Herison, ST, MT, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Unila Dr. dr. Evi Kurniawaty, S.Ked., M.Sc., the Chairperson of the SMA YP Unila Foundation Dr. Ryzal Perdana, S.Pd., M.Pd., the Principal of SMA YP Unila Dra. Mey Sriyani, MM, the teachers, and the parents of SMA YP Unila students.

Prof. Suripto Dwi Yuwono in his remarks emphasized that Unila is fully committed to holding a PROACTIVE new student admission selection process, namely Professional, Accountable, Transparent, and Informative.

According to him, the PMB socialization is an important part of providing clear and open information to prospective students and parents so they can prepare themselves optimally in determining their higher education choices.

The organizer of this year’s Unila PMB socialization presented a resource person from Unila’s PMB Public Relations, Dr. Muhamad Komarudin, ST, MT, who delivered complete information regarding the new student admission pathways including the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT), and the Independent Path.

Komarudin also explained the selection stages, requirements, schedule, and strategies to help students in choosing a study program that aligns with their interests and academic abilities. He also stated that Unila continues to strive to improve the quality of education, infrastructure, and academic services to create a superior and competitive learning environment.

Unila opens up the widest possible opportunities for the nation’s best sons and daughters, especially from Lampung Province, to join and develop with Unila.

Through this outreach, it is hoped that students and parents will gain a comprehensive understanding of the university entrance selection process and become more confident in making Unila their primary choice for continuing their education to the higher education level. [Muzamil Kakar]
