(Unila): The students from FKIP, Unila won third place in the FKIP state leadership forum (Forkopim) competition in a national level, at the Puri Saron Hotel, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, 28-30 October 2022.

There were three students, Panji Sukoco, Amalia Sabilla Mukhtar, and Maricha Marulina Nainggolan, participating in Forkopim. Panji and Amalia came third place for Indonesian language debate completion (KDBI), and Maricha also won third place in the microteaching competition.

The motion of the final KDBI debate was “the board believes that schools should aggressively direct students according to their talents from an early age”. This motion was chosen according to the background of the contestants, the state FKIP students coming from different regions throughout Indonesia.

Amalia said that the event was so challenging that she had such incredible experience and won third place in an offline competition in Western Nusa Tenggara (NTB), hopping that the home university would provide the team with reward.

The national FKIP leader forum competition throughout Indonesia constitutes forum group discussion particularly intended for FKIP leaders, deans, deputy deans, heads of departments, and heads of study programs. This annual event is aimed to handle coordination with respect to work programs to advance and improve education issues in Indonesia.

Like Amalia, Maricha felt very happy with third place in microteaching competition as the event has motivated her to improve her capability of teaching. [PR Team]
