(Unila): Unila welcomed five overseas students in the main courtroom of the rectorate on the second floor, Wednesday, October 12, 2022. The students were going through an orientation organized by the technical implementation unit (UPT) for the development of international cooperation and services (PKLI).
The five students come from different countries. Three students are from Afghanistan, Abdul Basit Bashri, Muzamil Kakar, and Wilayatsyah Afghanistan and Ravollonirina Natacha and Ahmed Zyad Zayed Alsyurafa come from Madagascar and Palestine, respectively.

Overseas students studying at the University of Lampung are expected to share good information in terms of the harmony of life, ethnic diversity, culture, religion, order and hospitality of Indonesians.
Unila, Suharso noted, has committed to scholarship for overseas students, providing some 40 overseas students with scholarship and Unila has set the admission policy, accepting the number of overseas students as many as that of the graduates of overseas students.
Unila has been prepared with a number of orientation materials for overseas students regarding academic and non-academic regulations. They need to adhere laws and regulations that apply in Indonesia, particularly with respect to immigration and legal procedures while they stay in Indonesia.
The material was delivered directly to the head of public relations of the Lampung police, Kombes. Pol. Zahwani Pandra Arsyad, and head of subsidy transfer status of the Class I immigration office, Umar Hadi Kesuma.
