(Unila): Participants from a number of universities enthusiastically took part in the Indonesian Sustainable Campus Innovation National Competition 2021 (Ikabi), hosted by the University of Lampung (Unila) for approximately five hours on Saturday, August 14, 2021.
A number of teams came out as winners in this national competition. The student team from Telkom University won a writing completion, titled “Carbon care: Social Mobile Platform-based on Carbon Footprint Calculator in order to Reduce the Impact of Climate Change to Support Sustainable Campus Innovation at Telkom University”.
The team, led by Akhdan Pangestuaji Widodo, was nominated for the first place. The team led by Fatimah El Balqis from the University of Lampung was in the second place with the title “Conversion of Mask Waste into Fuel Oil Using Pyrolysis Technology at the University of Lampung to Support SDGs”.
The team chaired by Nurul Pratiwi from State University of Padang, won the third place with the title “Pup Pump: Human Stool Processing as Alternative Bio-energy for Zero Waste Power Plants”.
Meanwhile, the favorite winner was gained by a team with a chairperson, Tri Prasetyo Dharma Yoga from Gadjah Mada University titled “my BRANKAS: Zero Waste Management Innovation as an Effort to Optimize the Implementation of the Green Campus Concept in Indonesia”.
Regarding the videography competition, the team from Budi Luhur University won the first and second place respectively with the first video chaired by Andika Dwinata, (Efforts to Implement Zero Waste at Budi Luhur University), and the second video with the chairperson, Karin Melinda, (Sustainable Innovation of Budi Luhur University Waste Bank).
The team led by Aldhi Apriand S from the University of Lampung presented the third winner for vidiography titled “GEUIGeBiCt (Green Energy Utilization Inside a Green)” led by. The team chaired Didi Maulana from Sultan AgengTirtayasa University was nominated the favorite winner for the videography competition, “MoBe (Mobil Beneng)”.
The first winner for the Ikabi national student writing competition 2021 was awarded IDR 3,000,000, followed by the second and the third winners each IDR 2,000,000, IDR 1,000,000 respectively.
For the videography competition, the first champion got some IDR 1,500,000, and the second and the third IDR 1,000,000, and 750,000 respectively, while each favorite winner was awarded IDR 500,000.
