(Unila): Representative of the Lampung Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) visited the Rector of the University of Lampung (Unila) Period 2019-2023, Prof. Karomani in the office, Thursday (11/28/2019).
In the visitation, Kanwil Kemenag delegated The Head of Information for Islamic, Zakat, and Waqf, Luqmanul Hakim, accompanied by Arif Rahman.
On that occasion, Luqmanul conveyed that the Lampung Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs will lead the seminar entitled, “The Importance of Waqf by involving students at the Green Campus.”
In addition to broadcasting and grounding Waqf, the seminar aims to reintroduce the importance of Waqf for the community.
“This is the initial stage in which the total number of participants will be limited to 250 students. The event will take place between 10 – 12 December 2019,” he said.
Responding to that, Prof. Karomani appreciated that positive activity and showed his support in holding this activity at the university level by involving all students, both activist students, and new students.
Unila is also willing to support by presenting the speakers from academics who master the related theme, if necessary. [PR Team]
