(Unila): The Legal, Administration, and State Property Division (HTL-BMN) of the University of Lampung held a greenmetric socialization for 81 participants representing from General Subdivision all faculties and units as well as Greenmetric Team in Unila, Wednesday (7/4/2019).
The socialization led by the Head of the General and Financie Bureau of Unila, Sariman, and the Head of HTL-BMN, Yodhi Rahmadani, was held in the context of management and sanitation.
In his remarks, Yodhi said that the purpose of this activity was to refer to Law No. 4/ 1982 concerning Environmental Pollution.
“Unila is committed to improving the Greenmetric ranking which is now in the top 20 nationally,” he said.
Yodhi also revealed that the socialization was intended to particularly inform the participants to prevent positive correlations of environmental pollution, improve the health of campus and the communities, and prevent various damage ahead.
Sariman also added Unila is currently going to be 54. Unila is committed to raising its Greenmetric Ratings. He explained that sanitation is a way to maintain the air circulation, cleanliness, and ‘greenness’ of campus.
“Reminiscing of the struggle of the founding fathers of Unila, therefore we are obliged to continue the struggle. One of them is by maintaining it,” Sariman said.
However, the event invited two distinguished guest speakers; Ofik Taupik Purwadi, S.T., M.T., and Dr. Ika Kustiani, S.T., M.Eng.Sc., from the National Greenmetric team.[PR Team]
