(Unila): The Rektor f the University of Lampung (Unila) Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A, IPM., ASEAN Eng., attended a fast-breaking and gathering event with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the Chancellor’s Forum, Religious Leaders, Community Leaders, Mass Organizations, and Labor Unions throughout Lampung Province. The event took place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 5:00 PM WIB, at the Siger Lounge of the Lampung Regional Police.
The event was also attended by Lampung Governor Rahmat Mirzani Djausal, ST, MM, Lampung Police Chief Inspector General Helfi Assegaf, SIK, MH, Lampung Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Drs. Sumarto, M.Sc., and other senior officials from the Lampung Police.
In his remarks, the Governor emphasized the importance of maintaining effective communication between the government, academics, security forces, business actors, and labor unions. This cross-sector communication is considered key to resolving various issues through dialogue, thereby maintaining stability and a conducive environment in Lampung Province.
The Lampung Police Chief further expressed his gratitude for the successful implementation of the public order and security gathering, which took place in a blessed atmosphere. He also appreciated the presence of all invited guests, who he considered a demonstration of togetherness during Ramadan 1447 Hijri.
According to him, this activity is an important means to strengthen synergy in maintaining a safe, peaceful, and prosperous public order and security situation in Lampung Province.
“The synergy of all components is currently the main strength in realizing a safe, peaceful, and prosperous Lampung,” he said.
He also emphasized the importance of digital literacy, especially for the younger generation, to avoid the spread of hoaxes, hate speech, and provocative content that could potentially lead to legal repercussions.
The series of activities then continued with a sermon and prayer together as a moment of reflection in the holy month of Ramadan.
