(Unila): Some 12 students as representatives from three departments in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) University of Lampung (Unila) were selected to take part in the international innovation competition in education.
This supports one of the dean’s policies, participating in the international collaboration and innovation in education to improve the students’ competence and competitiveness of FKIP in the global level.
The Dean, Prof, Sunyono insisted on the importance of establishing relationships with other countries and becoming part of the global community. FKIP and the Faculty of Humanities, the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM) have been establishing collaboration in the forms of lecturer and student exchanges between the two institutions.
In addition, eight students from FKIP took part in a humanitarian project in Malaysia for four months and this was acknowledged as 20 credits according to the FKIP’ policy.
The dean said that this activity was not only to prepare students for international competitions, but also to encourage them to continue to innovate and collaborate at the global level which in turn will boost the sustainable academic advancement of FKIP.
This is a good chance for FKIP to expand international networks and cooperation with respect to education. [PR Team]
