(Unila): Exciting news has emerged from the academic community of the Faculty of Engineering (FT) at Universitas Lampung (Unila).
The organising committee of the International Conference on Converging Technology in Electrical and Information Engineering (ICCTEIE) 2025 has announced that all scientific papers (proceedings) from the conference are now officially indexed in the esteemed international database, Scopus.
This successful indexing marks a positive continuation of the successful hosting of the third conference held on 22-23 October 2025 at the Emersia Hotel, Lampung.
Under the theme “The Future of Energy Transition in the Era of Artificial Intelligence,” this conference previously featured a lineup of global experts, including Prof. Ralf Muller from Germany and Dr. Daniel Eghbal from Australia, who discussed the integration of artificial intelligence in the global energy transition.
The Conference Chair of ICCTEIE 2025, Dr. Eng. Ir. Lukmanul Hakim, M. Sc., expressed his gratitude and pride regarding this achievement. He stated that the attainment of Scopus indexing is a tangible testament to the quality of the academic content and the professional selection process conducted by the committee.
“This success reflects our responsibility to all contributors to ensure that their scholarly works receive global recognition. We hope that this publication can make a significant contribution to the development of knowledge, particularly in the fields of electrical engineering and informatics,” he remarked.
In alignment with this sentiment, the Technical Program Chair, Misfa Susanto, Ph.D., added that the indexing process proceeded as targeted and has set a quality standard for the Faculty of Engineering Unila in conducting international scientific activities.
This achievement provides significant added value for authors and researchers who have presented their ideas.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Unila, Dr. Ahmad Herison, extended his highest appreciation to the entire ICCTEIE committee for this accomplishment. He emphasised that the success of Scopus indexing is a concrete demonstration of the academic excellence of the Faculty of Engineering at the international level.
“This achievement is not merely a numerical value but a form of global recognition of the quality of research produced within FT Unila. We remain committed to supporting every scientific initiative that enhances Unila’s reputation as a World Class University,” he asserted.
The entire committee also conveyed their utmost appreciation to all contributors. With the indexing of these proceedings, the written works of Unila academics and global practitioners involved can now be widely accessed and cited by the international scholarly community, thereby strengthening Unila’s position as a centre of innovation in Southeast Asia.
