(Unila): The Faculty of Engineering (FT) University of Lampung (Unila) organised a workshop entitled “Mental Development of Educational Staff in Enhancing Work Ethos, Integrity, and Professionalism Based on the Belief in One Supreme God.” The event took place in the Dean’s Hall, on the second floor of the Faculty of Engineering at Unila, on Wednesday, 4 March 2026.
The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A., IPM., ASEAN Eng., the Rector of Unila, Dr. Ahmad Herison, S.T., M.T., the Dean of FT who also inaugurated the event, along with the Deputy Deans of FT, the Head of the General Affairs Division, and the FT Working Team at Unila.
The organisers of the workshop presented speaker Putri Ramadhona S.Si., M.M., Cht., CPNC. This event served as an important opportunity to strengthen spiritual values, build a character of integrity in the workplace, and foster professionalism in carrying out duties and responsibilities as part of a higher education institution.
The workshop’s material was centred around “Working with Heart, Growing with Meaning.” It emphasised the necessity of establishing a commitment to be realised in one’s work. For instance, by creating one new act of kindness each day, or one new initiative that benefits the entire environment.
“Perhaps your name is not inscribed on the students’ diplomas, but your work is the reason for their success. Every small effort is valuable, and every sincere intention provides positive energy for all,” stated Dhona.
On this occasion, the Rector expressed hope that such activities could be conducted every semester, thereby achieving more optimal results. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the workshop will further enhance the quality of service, loyalty, and dedication in supporting the advancement of FT Unila. [Gandhi Irawan]
