(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) held a focus group discussion (FGD) on the Research and Community Service Guidelines for DIPA BLU Unila in 2026. The event took place on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, in the second-floor meeting room of the Rectorate.

The session was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Eng. Suripto Dwi Yuwono, S.Si., M.T. He emphasised that the purpose of the FGD is to expedite the announcement of research and community service proposal reports, enabling the designed programmes to be implemented promptly.

The FGD was attended by the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Unila, Dr. Eng. Ir. Dikpride Despa, S.T., M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng., the Secretary of LPPM Unila, Dr. Suparman Arif, S.Pd., M.Pd., and was moderated by Fajrin Satria Dwi Kesumah, S.E., M.FBE.

In his presentation, Dr. Dikpride Despa outlined the research schemes for the 2026 budget year, which include basic research, applied research, postgraduate research, professorship, senior professorship, pre-startup, and startup initiatives. The community service schemes encompass PKMU, PKM Village Development, and PKM Dissemination of Research Results.

The theme for research and community service for the 2026 budget year has been established as “Research-Based Innovation and Collaboration for Achieving Sustainability and Community Welfare.”

Furthermore, he announced that the recipients of research grants and PKM DIPA BLU Unila will be determined this March, while the seminar for the results of PKM is planned for October.

Through this FGD, it is hoped that the guidelines developed will serve as a comprehensive and implementable reference to support the execution of research and community service within the Unila environment throughout 2026. [Gandhi Irawan]
