(Unila): Determining an appropriate major, when you want to continue your study to Higher Education, requires some mindful consideration. The courses taken by prospective students should be fit to the interest and potential of each individuals.
As to create a mindful generation regarding this issues, BEM of the Faculty of Law (FH) University of Lampung (Unila) in collaboration with the Lampung Provincial Education Office, Happy Camp Institute, and Career Education, held the activity entitled “Course Review Festival” on Saturday (03/03/2019).
According to Head of BEM FH Unila, Saptori said that besides helping prospective students to choose the right course according to their needs, the purpose of this Course Review Festival is to inform numbers of majors in universities so that they can manage their next steps in choosing the best suitable major for them.
In addition, Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs of FH Unila, Sri Sulastuti in her remarks, said that the purpose of this event is to provide information to the prospective students who will enter the Higher Education can get a clear description of the majors that offered.
“Selecting a suitable course according to the interests and needs of the market or the work field is a quiet big matter to be considered for each of prospective students,” she said.
The event, which had a hashtag #SayaMelekJurusan, was successfully attended by 377 participants consisted by high school and vocational high school students in Lampung Province. There were 25 departments presented to the participants by the special speakers. They are the outstanding students who are representing 15 popular universities in Indonesia.[PR Team]
