(Unila): Rector of University of Lampung, Prof. Dr. Hasriadi Mat Akin, M.P., and Head of Lampung Provincial Prosecutor, Dr. Susilo Yustinus S.H., M.H., ratified a Memorandum of understanding between University of Lampung (Unila) and Lampung Provincial Prosecutor (Kejati) in Unila Main Hall fl. 2 nd , Rectorat, Tuesday (1/29/2019), attended by boards of both parties.
The signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to increase the effectiveness of Unila in handling and/ or attempting to sort out the issues of legal and administrative state of both inside and outside the court.
The scope of the agreement includes legal assistance, legal considerations, other legal actions, as well as cooperation in improving the technical competence of both human resources.
In his remarks, Hasriadi expected that the cooperation could support Unila manifestation as an institution with character. “I hope this cooperation will foster Unila to an integrity zone,” he said.
Unila, also requires the assistance from Team for Government Safeguards and Development Guards (TP 4) for the green campus development. Therefore, optimizing all potentials on both sides is required in order to respond the challenges in society.
On the same occasion Susilo added, cooperation in handling the issues of legal and administrative state as the entity of tasks, has been regulated since 1922. If in the future Unila needs assistance, he said, especially regarding legal assistance or others that related to our responsibilities, Kejati will directly respond the Unila request.
“As law enforcers, we are responsible for securing Unila and assets. Thus, we are gearing up to assist and guard,” said Susilo.[Humas]
