(Unila): University of Lampung released 754 graduates from Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Professional Program, in a Graduation Ceremony Period III Odd Semester Academic Year 2018/2019 at Multi Purpose Building (GSG) Unila, Saturday (01/26/2019).
There was something different in this graduation ceremony. Since this period, University of Lampung will hold the graduation ceremony no longer on Wednesday as in prior years, but it will be regularly held on Saturday.
In addition, if the previous commencement was handed over by each dean of faculties in turn, but the currently procession was simultaneously carried out by two deans from different faculties.
During this period Unila graduated three graduates of the professional engineering program. Therefore, the University of Lampung has totally graduated 103,151 alumni that are widespread throughout the nation.
Rector of Unila, Prof. Hasriadi Mat Akin, M.P., in his remarks, said that world is changing swiftly. It was a rapid tranformation from industry 3.0 to 4.0. He also advised, all graduates should be able to keep up with the era and adapt the technology.
“Nowadays there are many intelligent people, but not all of those always have good character. Therefore, Unila alumni are advised to own both,” he added.
This Professor of Faculty of Agriculture suggested the graduates to keep their life-long-learning wherever and whenever. “Do not be easy to feel satisfied with the knowledge you have,” he said.
The best graduate for the university level in this period was achieved by Boby Hermanto from the Bachelor Program of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences with the length of study was 3,25 years.
Meanwhile, the best graduate of the Postgraduate Program was achieved by Rudiyanto from Faculty of the Teacher Training and Education with the length of study was 2,00 years.[Humas]
