(Unila): The Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and ICT the University of Lampung Prof. Dr. Mahatma Kufepaksi, M.Sc., opened “The First International Conference on Economics, Business and Entrepreneurship (ICEBE)” collaborating with IJEBE Journal at Lampung Horison Hotel, Lampung, Wednesday (11/07/2018).
The event brought the theme “Entrepreneurship Development in Digital and Disruptive Economics”.
This activity aims to showcase the results of research and discuss research ideas, build good relationships, and become an arena for improving science. There are 55 articles from local, national and several other countries.
Articles presented at this International Conference will be selected to be published in the Scopus journal and International Journal of Economics, Business and Entrepreneurship, owned by the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung.
There were two keynote speakers, namely: Dr. Gultekin Altuntas as Associate Professor of Business and Entrepreneurship from Istanbul University, Turkey and Dr. Erlane K Ghani as Associate Professor of Accounting from UiTM Malaysia.
The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business represented by the Vice Dean for General and Finance Affairs Dr. Fajar Gustiawaty Dewi, SE., M.Sc., conveying “This international conference can foster new ideas in research that will be carried out in the future and at the same time invite academics to submit their papers to the Journal of IJEBE FEB University of Lampung”.
Prof. Mahatma conveyed, that this conference could become a forum for developing networks in the field of Economics, University of Lampung supports activities such as to encourage students interested in entrepreneurship.[Humas]
