(Unila): Institute of Research and Community Service of the University of Lampung (LPPM Unila) held a training in Research Methodology for Beginner Researchers. The training took place in the LPPM Meeting Room on Wednesday (03/20/2019).
This one day training was attended by 50 lecturers from all Unila faculties. Head of LPPM, Warsono, Ph.D., said that the training was specifically for novice lecturers who just started the research or even young lecturers in terms of age.
Moreover, LPPM invited some distinguished speakers. They were Prof. Sudjarwo, M.S., (FKIP Unila); Prof. M. Akib, M.Hum., (FH Unila); Prof. Hamim Sudarsono, M.Sc., (FP Unila); Prof. Mustofa Usman, Ph.D., (FMIPA Unila); and Yulia Rahma Fitriana, Ph.D., (FP Unila).
The material presented was a combination of social and science field. He hopes that novice researchers understand multidisciplinary research, of both among faculties and departments.
Warsono further explained the activities that related to Unila program. It was aimed to build a synergy of development and research which have been carried out. The process of implementing research methodology must be more real, since it was no longer merely in the academic context.
“Perhaps, some people have little knowledge about the Lampung potential in the research field. Hence, beside the substance materials, the speakers will share the experience of senior researchers,” said Warsono in his remarks.
The material presented includes interviewing techniques in data collection, data analysis, and procedures of using Mendeley Software to facilitate an ease in creating reputable national and international books and journals.[PR Team]
