(Unila): Bureau for Academic and Student Affairs of University of Lampung (BAK Unila) conducted a “Socialization of Data Normalization of Unila Active Students 2019”. The activity that was held at Kampoeng Wisata Tabek Indah, Natar, Wednesday (3/28/2019) was officially opened by Head of ICT Unit of Unila, Dr. Ing. Ardian Ulvan.
Ardian, who became the speaker in the event, explained that the socialization was motivated by a number of factors. Among them are differences version between active student data by Siakad and by Registration and Statistics Subdivision of BAK Unila. In addition, there are many student statuses in Siakad that have not been updated so that the date less acurate to be taken as a reference.
“We hope that after this socialization, the integrated data can be done within a single month. It is expected that by early May there will be valid data on Unila active students. By this data we can carry out various activities and create related policies,” he said.
Ardian explained, the normalization method was carried out by comparing active student data from the Registration and Statistics Subdivision of BAK Unila with the students data in Siakad.
The event was attended by a number of deans, heads of study programs, head of subdivisions, and academic staff in Unila. [PR Team]
