(Unila): A team from the University of Lampung (Unila) including Vice Rector of PKTIK, Dr Ayi Ahadiat, and Head of UPT PKLI Unila, Prof Irza Sukmana, participated in the university rankings workshop held by Cliq Education, 26 February 2024, in Singapore with the topic “What you should know about rankings as a university in Asia?”.
The workshop was intended to facilitate academic staff and higher education leaders who are passionate about the trends and impacts of university rankings.
Poh Hee Kim, former director of Institutional Statistics at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, was acting a speaker of the workshop as he is an experienced director of institutional research and planning for years.
He graduated from Oxford University majoring in Engineering Science, and he was doing his MBA and MSc degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
He is also a professional in a data analysis, statistics, performance metrics, strategic planning, and research operations. He has closely involved in various annual experience and labour surveys, student outcome analysis, contributing to worth statistical insights.
He shares diverse impacts, benchmark metrics, and advice on what institutions need to know about rankings and improvement plans. Unila took advantage of the workshop with respect to strategic insights on university rankings in Asia and the opportunity to have discussions from reputable trainers in their fields.
