(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) Swimming Pool received a 2.5 million rupiah reward for winning the BRI Best Sales Volume QRIS award for the Lampung and Bengkulu Regions in 2022.
The award was presented directly to Dr. Susi Sarumpaet, S.E., M.B.A., President Director of the Unila Business Management Agency (BPU) by the Head of the BRI Lampung Bengkulu Regional Office, at the Merchant and BRI Lampung Bengkulu 2022 Gathering on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Swiss Bell Hotel, Bandarlampung.
Susi Sarumpaet, when reached by phone, expressed satisfaction with the Unila swimming pool’s accomplishments for demonstrating the effectiveness of Unila’s swimming pool administration in terms of efficiency, advancement, and accountability due to the QR Code non-cash payment system, QRIS BRI
“Of course, I’m quite glad that change management of the Unila swimming pool has been made from using cash-on-cash transactions to BRI’s QRIS and it has been well accepted,” he said.
Transactions using BRI’s QRIS, he claims, bring numerous benefits to the operation of Unila’s swimming pool. Management can save money and effort while providing users with convenience.
The award is a reward for the management’s efforts in attaining its goal of better and more transparent financial management in the swimming pool.
She said that the award was then given to 14 pool officers regarded to have worked hard to ensure that the Unila swimming pool received positive feedback from visitors, either directly or through social media.
“Numerous compliments have been received from guests, either directly or through social media with respect to cleanness, neatness, and comfort of the Unila swimming pool. Even when we continue to fall short, we are recognised. The presence of non-cash transactions makes us happy as it is now well handled,” he explained.
The manager of the Unila swimming pool intends to improve the management performance so that better achievement would be recognized by either campus insiders or outsiders.
Dr. Susi, a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), also stated that Smart Billing, the cashless payment system, would also be applied for dormitories and canteens.
“Hopefully, another reward for the transformation of payments that are more accountable, reliable, and trustworthy would be received, so that financial management at BPU could be more accountable and transparent,” she said. [PR Team]
