(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) successfully held the grand opening of its Culinary Festival titled “Exploring Flavors.” The event took place on the Unila Shuttle Bus on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

The activity was opened by the Rector of Unila Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, DEA, IPM., ASEAN Eng., Chair of the Senate, Vice Rectors, deans and vice deans, heads of departments, in the Unila environment, as well as Luthvy Indaka Arga as Manager of BSI Lampung, and Rosi Dahlia as Brans Manager of KC. Diponegoro.

In her remarks, Prof. Lusmeilia Afriani stated that this activity was initiated not only for trading, but also as a place for education and promotion of faculties and study programs at Unila.

“I hope those who open booths here, especially students, won’t just be selling, but also promoting their faculties and study programs,”she said.

The festival was attended by 80 MSME tenants from both external and internal Unila. The Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Prof. Dr. Ayi Ahadiat, SE, MBA, who also serves as Acting Chair of the Unila BPU, also conveyed that this activity demonstrates Unila’s commitment to building a productive, inclusive, and sustainable campus economic ecosystem.

The hope is that this festival will provide easier culinary access for students during Ramadan, as well as increase turnover and competitiveness for partner MSMEs. [Muzamil Kakar]
