(Unila): Unila successfully submited the documents of 8 study programmes for international accreditation to the International Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation for eight study programmes’ international accreditation (FIBAA).

The submission taking place in the El Royale Hotel, in Bandung West Java, was directed by the head center of learning development and quality assurance (LP3M) and was witnessed by Prof. Suharso, on Saturday, August 20, 2022,

Among those present were Prof. Wan Abbas Zakaria, the LP3M Chairman, Prof. Buhani, the LP3M Secretary, Priambodo, M.Sc., the LP3M Head of the National and International Accreditation Center and other centre heads and secretaries.

According to Prof. Suharso, this endeavour was in line with Unila’s internationalisation strategy and the long term development plan goals (RPJP).

According to Suharso this is an attempt to have Unila’s international reputation better improved. There have been 15 study programmes submitting their international accreditation paperwork this year. Suharso noted that other 15 study programmes were recorded to have their document submitted to international accreditation organisations.

Priambodo, head of the national and international accreditation center also disclosed the eight study programs, S-1 Management, S-1 Accounting, S-1 Development Economics, S-2 Management, Masters in Accounting, S-1 -1 in Communication Science, S-1 in State Administration, and S-1 in Business Administration for submission completion of international accreditation documents.

The documents of the other three study programs, Biology, Mathematics, and Physics, have been previously submitted their documents to ASIIN international accrediting organisations.

Prof. Wan Abbas Zakaria, head of LP3M, committed to Unila chancellor’s directives to continue to monitor the registration process until the study program’s worldwide accreditation was attained.

Some programmes have been made by LP3M as efforts to have international accreditation improved and they were supported with planning and preparing for site visits by leading Universities, ITB, UGM, Unair, and Undip. [PR Team]
