(Unila): Muhammad Hanif, a student majoring computer science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Unila, placed third in the Lampung Begawi competition organized by Bank Indonesia in collaboration with the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of Lampung Province.
He demonstrated his accomplishments in the Travel Application Conceptual Design Competition which was put in place from 1 to 13 May 2023. The competition was conducted in two stages: online elimination from 1 to 11 May 2023 and an offline final at Lampung City Mall, Telukbetung, Bandarlampung on 13 May 2023.
There were 16 participants taking part in the competition from the top public and private universities in Lampung. The purpose of this competition for students was to pique their the interest, aptitude, and creativity of individuals in designing tourism applications to support tourism development programs and the creative economy of Lampung Province.
He participated in the competition as design and editing have been an his passion and obsession. He said that he intended to incorporate special abilities in this competition via an application he created called Jola (Journey Lampung) during an interview with the website’s staff.
Jola is a travel application that provides travelers with a tourism experience in the Lampung region.
The application, some features of which include the most up-to-date information on tourist destinations, destination filters, category features, notifications, search for tourist destinations, and a variety of tourism accommodations spanning from transportation to Lampung hotels, is particularly designed to facilitate vacation planning in the Lampung region.
Jola facilitates travelers to easily discover information about tourist destinations, lodging, transportation, gastronomic delights, and other facilities in Lampung as travellers are assisted with trip planning and tourism-related information of Lampung. [PR Team]
