(Unila): Nine FKIP students, Unila carried out community service as well as teaching practice at a junior high school in Karang Anyar village, Jati Agung, South Lampung for one month, from 4 January to 10 February 2024.
The community service includes some activities, among others cleaning the environment and providing street name signs, teaching and providing tutoring to children, holding Islamic competitions in commemoration of Isra Mikraj, and holding health counselling to prevent stunting to pregnant women in commemoration of National Nutrition Day on 25 January 2024.
The Unila students promoted updated methods of teaching, such as game learning and project based learning strategies to junior high school students so that learning is effective and enjoyable.
In addition to teaching methods, the Unila students also promoted the national ideology, Pancasila to strengthen Pancasila student profile (P5) project as an implementation of the independent curriculum. Other programs, such as business planning, calculating capital, creating a logo using the Canva application were also introduced to the community. [PR Team]
