(Unila): Lampung University (Unila) officially sent off 12 students who received the Bright Scholarship Batch 11 from YBM BRILiaN to participate in the Bright National Summit (BNS) 2025, which will be held on November 6–9, 2025, in Bogor, West Java.

The send-off ceremony took place in the office of the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems (PKSI), Prof. Dr. Ayi Ahadiat, S.E., M.B.A., representing the Rector of Unila.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ayi Ahadiat expressed his appreciation to YBM BRILiaN for its contribution in supporting outstanding Unila students through the Bright Scholarship program.

“We are very proud of the achievements of Unila students who were selected as national delegates. Their presence in this national agenda not only brings good name to the campus, but also serves as a strategic step in shaping future leaders of the nation who are of good character and highly competitive,” said Prof. Ayi.

The YBM BRILiaN Bright Scholarship program has been running since 2016 and has benefited 2,415 students from 33 state universities in Indonesia. By 2025, the total number of awardees will reach 315 students from 23 state universities and two Islamic state universities across Indonesia.

This year, Unila sent 12 selected student delegates. They are Aang Chandra from the Geological Engineering Study Program; Ahmad Lukman Nul Hakim, Afiton Gupaytra, and Muhammad Dzikra Ismail from the Law Study Program; Azzam F. Ismail Al Qossam from Geophysical Engineering.

Furthermore, Tegar Dwi Febrianto from Mechanical Engineering; Candra Setiawan and Muhammad Java Andhika from Electrical Engineering; Davinda Putra Setiyo from Agrotechnology; Hendra Ilya Purnama from Economic Education; Muhammad Nurfa Akmal from Management; and Tio Juwantara from Physics Education.

Representatives of YBM BRILiaN Region 5 Bandar Lampung believe that the Bright National Summit is a forum for developing the character, leadership, and competence of awardees from all over Indonesia.

With this release, Unila awardees are expected to become ambassadors of inspiration and bring home extraordinary experiences and national networks.
