(Unila): Dr. Ayi Ahadiat, Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation, and ICT (PKTIK) University of Lampung (Unila) welcomed Prof. Jonathan Morris, the Director of Research Culture and Environment, University of Hertfordshire, UK along with doctoral students at the University of Hertfordshire, Caroline Dunn, and Lecturer in the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, Unila. Caroline Dunn’s dissertation study on coffee types and management of coffee-based drinks in Lampung Province was carried out during the visit. Prof. Jonathan Morris indicated that the research would take three to four months in the regions of Liwa, West Lampung, and Tanggamus.
Prof. Morris stated that the University of Hertfordshire in England is in need for collaboration with Unila in areas of research, publications, student mobility, and so on. Dr. Ayi Ahadiat expressed his enthusiasm for the relationship, following it up with a more specific collaboration strategy between the two universities.
