(Unila): University of Lampung invited Bureaucratic Reform Team of Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education to inspire ideas regarding bureaucratic reform acceleration of Unila towards be Good University Government.
This event, which was held at Unila Main Hall fl. 2, Rectorat Building on Friday (11/1/2019), was attended by Head of Bureau, Deans, Head of Divisions and Units, Team of Bureaucratic Reform, and some distinguished guests.
The Head of Bureaucratic Reform of Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Ir. Wisnu S. Soeharso, M. Eng., and Secretary of Bureaucratic Reform of Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, M. Ali Akbar, as the speakers at this event.
Bureacratic reform, is the beginning step of structuring a good governance system effectively and efficiently in order to provide a fast, proper, and professional public service.
This socialization as well as discussion event was an effort in realizing Integrity Zone to Corruption Free Zone (WBK) and; Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Zone, which were declaired by Unila in last 2018.
The Integrity Zone Declaration was made upon a declaration ratification in the presence of Representative of State of Development Audit Agency and Ombudsman Lampung. Thus, this Integrity Zone (ZI) is a concrete step in accelerating the achievement of bureaucratic reform work program in each unit in Unila.
This event was officially opened by Vice Rector for General and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir Muhammad Kamal, M.Sc., accompanied by Head of General and Financial Bureau, Sariman, S.H.
Kamal stated that bureaucracy is not a destiny but it is a goal to pursue our goal to be a Good University Government. Hence, it is hard to achieve good campus management without clean and serving bureaucracy and reformation. “Therefore, bureaucratic reform is not negotiable. It is expected that WBK and WBBM will soon be realized by implementing the bureaucratic reform,” he said.[]
