(Unila): The Faculty of Law (FH) at the University of Lampung (Unila) in the United Kingdom of the Mediation Forum (UKMF) has attained a commendable accomplishment in the Tarumanagara Law Fair V Cup, presided over by the Chief Justice of the Republic of Indonesia in 2023.

The delegation from Unila achieved success by securing four championships simultaneously in a competition hosted by Tarumanagara University (Untar) in Jakarta for two days from the 24th to 25th of June, 2023.

The UKMF Center for Legal Aid Studies (PSBH) dispatched a group of five highly accomplished representatives, among others, Aziz Alqodri, Teresia Rosa, Muhammad Gibran, Naswa Aufa Salsabila, and Kezya Luzanta Felyza.

The participants demonstrated their considerable expertise in mediation to effectively resolve legal issues as assigned by the committee. The Unila delegation achieved four notable titles, namely the first place, general champion, best mediator at the final level, and best mediator at the preliminary level.

FH Unila has successfully maintained the status as the defending champion in the Tarumanagara Law Fair competition, as demonstrated by this recent achievement.

The mediation competition held during the Tarumanagara Law Fair is a highly esteemed event that is meticulously coordinated by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Law at Tarumanagara University.

The primary goal of this competition is to enhance both the caliber and quantity of young mediators within the Indonesian context. Twelve teams all of whom come from prominent law faculties from a number of Indonesian universities participated in the tournament and all of them successfully cleared the initial file selection process.

The delegation from Unila expresses gratitude to UKMF PSBH and the mentors for their invaluable assistance and support throughout the competition proceedings.

Furthermore, they aspire to sustain their current championship title in the forthcoming years, while seeking comprehensive recognition and support from the academic staff. [PR Team]
