(Unila): The 2022 accounting student team made proud of the University of Lampung (Unila) in the 2022 International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF) competition held by the Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA), 1-5 November 2022.
Dimas Prayoga and four team members, Pratama Satya Nugraha, Ramadhina Aila Putri, Widia Lorenza, and Tirtha Melinda Suhartati, won gold medals in the social science category through the creading innovation product.
Creading is an application for providing business capital through a crowd funding system that provides information, education, and funding services digitally in one series. This application may catch youth interest in entrepreneurship and can be used as an alternative to address the problem of unemployment and poverty in Indonesia.
In the competition, Dimas and the team presented Creading online via Zoom, witnessed by the jury. The presentation was conducted in English for 15 minutes and was split into two sessions. The first presentation session lasted eight minutes and the second spent seven minutes for question and answer session with the jury.
ISIF 2022 refers to a learning platform of IYSA’s annual science and innovation competition to accommodate and appreciate active, creative and innovative student innovations worldwide. In this event, some 614 teams from 32 countries were registered to participate in ISIF 2022 online and offline.
Dimas admitted that the activity provided valuable experience for him and his team in terms of learning and collaborating to explore their potential and dare to compete with participants from different countries around the world.
