(Unila): University of Lampung (Unila) and PT. Cellular Telecommunications (Telkomsel) carried out the signing of a memorandum of understanding in the main meeting room on the second floor at Rectorate Building, Tuesday (9/4/2019).
It was aimed at increasing digitalization of the campus and at the same time implementing a number of applications that facilitate the performance of employees and lecturers.
The Rector Prof. Hasriadi Mat Akin said, Unila, if it was sorted according to the score of the use of information and technology (IT), was in the ninth best position in the 4ICU version. Hasriadi hopes that all work units can optimize the cooperation.
“There are many advantages Telkomsel has that can be used by each work unit in the campus environment. Moreover, currently Unila is transforming from teaching university to research university, “explained Hasriadi.
Telkomsel Vice President of Sales and Marketing Area for Sumatra, Erwin Tanjung, explained Telkomsel falls into a growing generation of technology category. It currently has 330 million users with more than 12 million using broadband.

Not only that, Telkomsel also offers video conference facilities for lectures, installation of learning support applications, remote attendance facilities, and CSR. Telkomsel also continues to invite people to use technology to shape the nation’s digital thinking successors.
On the same occasion the Chairman of BP KKN Sri Waluyo added, using Simple KKN application made by Telkomsel, the management of Community Service Program (KKN) is much easier.
